Thereasa Louise Quintana

Thereasa Louise Quintana, 55, of Denver, passed away July 1st, 2022, with her family by her side holding her hand. 
She was born to Eloisa Garcia and the late Fredrico Garcia, on Sept. 26, 1966, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Thereasa graduated from Robertson High School in 1984 and received a certificate in medical clerical coding and billing from Community College of Denver. 
She moved her family from New Mexico to Denver, CO in 1996. Thereasa is survived by her three children: Judith, Jacob and Jolene Quintana of Denver, CO. She is also survived by five grandchildren. 
Thereasa was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved to spend her time with her grandkids every moment she had. She taught her children and grandkids the beauty of life and the devotion of family. Thereasa was immensely proud of all her children's achievements and leaves nothing behind but beautiful memories.
Thereasa had a fiery personality and was very vocal about her opinions. Often saying I'll say what I want I don't care who hears. She was very passionate about her children and grandkids, she protected them fiercely while they were growing up. Even if that means yelling at a couple teachers who has bad things to say about her kids. When things didn't go her way she had her favorite saying "oh my gosh!" She loved to be the life of the party but always wanted to be around her kids so she would join in on concerts and trips to the mountains. When she was relaxing at home she loved to watch lifetime and soap operas but in her free time she enjoyed being with her grandkids the most. 
Funeral services will be held on Friday August 12th, 2022 at 11am at the Our lady of Grace church. A reception will follow at the church from 12 to 3pm. Address for the services are 2645 E 48th avenue, Denver, CO 80216.
