Patrick Sparacino Obituary

Patrick John (Pat) Sparacino was born in Denver on July 6, 1965, to a single mother and was given up for adoption. He was adopted when he was six weeks old by Joseph J and Mary B Sparacino and became the youngest of 6 children in the family. Joe Sparacino died in 1975 when Pat was 9 years old. Mary Sparacino died in 2006 at the age of 81. Pat attended 1 year of elementary school at Holy Family and then transferred to Denver Public Schools. He worked as a plant scaper for Little Eden a business that provided interior plants for businesses. He then started work as a plumber eventually earning his master plumber’s license. He was self-employed under his business name, Patman Plumbing. Pat married Cheryl Ann Pilakowski (nee Lemon) on April 18, 1996. They raise 2 children, Richard Joseph (Ricky) Pilakowski, and Aleah Shelby Pilakowski. Cheryl was the love of Pat’s life and sadly passed away on July 19, 2009. That sorrow never quite left Pat and he missed her dearly.

Pat lived in Littleton, Colorado, with son Ricky and his mother-in-law, Carol Fish, Cheryl’s mother. Pat and Cheryl had promised one another to help take care of each other’s moms, and both did keep to this promise. Pat was the original class clown and was a master at making people laugh and was very quick with a clever and sometimes naughty quip. He loved to cook was a huge Bronco fan and hosted his many friends at game watching parties. He had many, many dear friends, whom he considered family and who will miss him greatly. He loved the outdoors and took after his big brother Joe by collecting cars. At the time of his death, he still has his first car, a 1968 Mustang.

He is survived by his children, Ricky and Leah and his mother-in-law, Carol. Also survived by one brother, Mike Sparacino, and three sisters, Mary Ann (Al) Sparacino Donelson, Nina (John) Sparacino, Incampo, and Nora Sparacino Oehrle and sister-in-law Palaua (the late Joe) Sparacino; as well as nephews Anthony Sparacino, Jim Oehrle, Mark Oehrle, and nieces Tina Incampo Rasco and Teri Incampo Taylor.
