Roberto V. Ruiz

It is with great sadness that we announce that on Saturday, December 10th, 2022, Roberto Vega Ruiz was called home at the age of 72. After months of declining health, Roberto passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. The world has lost a great brother, husband, father, and grandfather.

Roberto was born in Guanajuato Mexico on February 23rd, 1950. At the age of 22, he fell in love and married Lilia in 1972. He died one day shy of their 50th anniversary. While Roberto achieved his American dream of becoming an entrepreneur of his own masonry company, his greatest accomplishment was his family. He fathered 8 children that will carry on his legacy of hard work and perseverance.

Roberto is survived by his wife Lilia, his sister Carmen, and his children: Roberto, Dania, Edgar, Gabe, Jose, Celeste, Danny and Natalie and their children and grandchildren. Service will be St. Cajetan Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022. The Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:00 AM with the Funeral Mass following at 11:00 AM. A remembrance gathering will follow the mass in the church hall where the family will receive and welcome friends and family.
