John A. Koskovich 52, passed away on March 23 2016 in Denver Colorado, having grown up in the Denver area. John was a graduate of Smoky Hill High School and the University of Phoenix. He had worked at Brakes Plus for over 25 years.He was very athletic, having run cross country in his younger years, and moving onto soccer and hockey as an adult. When his knees wore out he eventually moved to bicycling and has been very passionate about riding for years. He and his wife Elaine have been riding multiple day rides regularly, their favorite being the Bicycle Ride across Nebraska (BRAN). John made many good friends being involved in hockey, soccer and cycling. His other interests were coaching his son Alec’s hockey teams, camping/fishing, hunting, blues music and concerts. John, Elaine and Alec were avid live music fans.He is survived by his wife Elaine and son Alec, father Kenneth, brothers Daniel and Charles and their families. John is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine.A celebration of his life will be held at a future date, with the scattering of his ashes at Lake Powell at his request.
