James Kenneth Martin

James Kenneth Martin “Jim” was born on December 27, 1943 in Norfolk, VA. Passed away on October 29, 2015 in Aurora, CO. His Father was James Edward Martin. Survived by Wife Jean Daniell, Mother Winifred Gillian Stair Martin, Sister Edwina Titus and Daughter Kelly Martin.Jim served in the United States Coast Guard before moving to Colorado. He graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors Degree in Science later went on to achieve his Real Estate License. Jim enjoyed his work specializing in working with military families and playing in active role in the community, receiving Realtor of the Year in 2009. He had a passion for reading and learning about the civil war, history and politics. Jim liked all sports but football was his favorite. The Denver Broncos and Air Force Falcons were the teams he followed the closest. He enjoyed collecting and going to estate sales. Jim will be missed by many. Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on 11/11/15 11AM at The Warehouse 25 W. Cimarron St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.The family is requesting donations to assist covering expenditures.
