Jack Grossman

Jack Grossman, passed away on March 3, 2019, at the University of Colorado Hospital after a long battle with liver cancer. He took on this daunting challenge with a strength of determination that was unbelievable - unless of course, you knew him. Jack had an incredible circle of friends and relatives that supported him through this ordeal.Jack was born on November 5, 1957, to Margot (Bertram) and Philip Grossman in Cleveland, OH. He lived in Cleveland until 1976 when relocated to Williams Air Force Base as an Avionic Instrument Systems Specialist. He spent the following 3+ decades building a professional career in aircraft maintenance safety, obtaining a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (2001) while working for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). After 34 years of service, he retired from the FAA in September 2016 as Manager of the United Certificate Management Office.Upon retiring, Jack spent time on his favorite hobbies such as scuba diving, touring the national parks in our RV, skiing, hiking, house improvement projects, listening to jazz, and doting on his wife. He was a food and wine connoisseur and enjoyed entertaining immensely. He will be missed dearly.Jack is survived by his wife and soulmate, Debbie Grossman and cats, Dezi and Lucy. He is also survived by his mother, Margot Grossman; sister, Giselle Evola; nephews; John Evola (wife Noreen), Tony Evola (wife Kris), and Carmen Evola (wife Jamie); and several great-nieces and nephews.
