Obituary

David J. Allison, 63, passed away on June 29, 2015 in Denver, where he had lived and worked as a paralegal for over two decades. David grew up in Elburn, IL with his family and a menagerie of pets, including dogs, cats, a pony, monkeys, reptiles, fishes, and other exotic creatures. He graduated from Kaneland High School in 1969 and received a Bachelor's degree in political science from Northern Illinois University in 1973. He was a great fan of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and Eric Clapton, having recently attended several concerts this summer. He loved animals and nature, making frequent trips to zoos, the mountains, jungles, and beaches throughout the world. David served as a Methodist Lay Minister and was passionate about preaching the gospels of Jesus Christ. He made friends wherever he went and his humor, compassion, and spirit will be greatly missed.
